Meet Dr. Muriel Law
For Dr. Muriel Law, exceptional dentistry is about much more than improving teeth. It is about understanding how a healthy, comfortable, confident smile can influence a person's overall well-being. That philosophy has fueled her commitment to lifelong learning and the pursuit of excellence throughout her career.
Dr. Muriel earned her undergraduate degree from Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, before attending the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. She continued her education through a General Practice Residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, gaining additional experience in comprehensive patient care.
Never content to stop learning, Dr. Muriel has pursued extensive postgraduate education in advanced dentistry. Her training and professional distinctions include:
- Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
- Dawson Academy Scholar
- Sustaining Member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry
- Kois Center Graduate
Dr. Muriel particularly enjoys comprehensive rehabilitative dentistry, including complex cases that integrate dental implants. She is also highly experienced in evaluating and treating TMJ disorders. Her collaborative approach frequently involves working alongside local physical therapists and oral surgeons to help patients with complex jaw-related concerns find lasting solutions.
Cosmetic dentistry is another passion. Dr. Muriel combines advanced training with modern digital technology to carefully plan treatment and help patients understand what may be possible for their smiles. She continues to expand her education through the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry as she pursues AACD accreditation. This achievement has been earned by only about 500 dentists worldwide.
Above all, Dr. Muriel wants every patient to receive care grounded in integrity, compassion, and clinical excellence.
Away from dentistry, she enjoys spending time with Dr. Kevin, her husband since 2008, and their two children. You can also find her cheering on the Vols, playing tennis, snow skiing, staying active, and making time for family gatherings.
